Rule -01: Stand straight with your shoulders back
Stand straight with your shoulders back will change how you look and other people perceive you on a neural level. Slumped posture will be unattractive which increase the likelihood of getting heart disease, cancer, and dementia. maintain your good posture which will help you to stay productive always.
Rule -02: Treat yourself like someone you are responsible for helping
In some instances, I missed helping someone because of business at work. If somebody is asking for help from you that means he/she believe in you. If you are not helping someone on time, you will lose the belief he/she had in you. If you want something, you should give a similar thing to someone and the universe will come back to you.
Rule -03: Make friends with people who want the best for you
As I mention in my blog “10 Signs You Are Wasting Your Life” Friends network is important for your personal life and professional life. There are friends who actually help you to grow and have success in your life and there are friends who just waste your time wandering or sitting idle, so you should be aware of those friends who waste your time without contributing to your growth.

Rule -04: Compare yourself to who you were yesterday, not to who someone else is today
I was always comparing myself with my ex-friend and got frustrated. If you continue to compare yourself to others, you will continually be frustrated. It better to realize the there will always be someone doing better than you. So why on the earth would you waste your time comparing yourself?
Rule -05: Do not let your children do anything that makes you dislike them
This is one of the parenting rules of Peterson. It doesn’t work if you hit your misbehaving child. You should give the reason why your child should not behave in this way. Childs are new to this earth. Don’t punish them, they will realize that in another way around.
Rule -06: Set your house in perfect order before you criticize the world
You may experience most of us criticizing our country, political parties and government service without thinking about the mistakes they are making in our personal life. So before we criticize the world, we start to stop doing what we are doing wrong.
Rule -07: Pursue what is meaningful, not what is expedient
Pursue pleasure, lie, cheat, steal, deceive, and manipulate are expedient which short-term pleasure. Peterson asked to pursue what is meaningful which make your life better.
Rule -08: Tell the truth, or at least, don't lie
If you continue to lie, dishonesty will always come back to bite you. if you tell lie, you need to tell another lie to hide a previous lie. So tell the truth always, or at least, don't lie.
Rule -09: Assume that the person you are listening to might know something you don't
It is no point in listening to what you know. You would be surprised what you can learn by shutting up and truly listening.
Rule -10: Be precise in your speech
This rule is most effectively applied in communication skill. If you are not precise in your speech, another person will not be interested in your speech.
Rule -11: Do not bother children when they are skateboarding
This is another the parenting rules of Peterson. You are protecting your child from any activity that is considered dangerous like skateboarding. Children take the risk to be competent. Denying your child from taking is more dangerous which will destroy your children’s future.
Rule -12: Pet a cat when you encounter one on the street
You should notice and enjoy the little enjoyable thing happening all the time. This will help you to be productive even in a difficult time.
